The "Columbian Center" is an independent home away from home living center that is owned and operated by the California Knights of Columbus.

The Center is located in the town of Marysville, CA small community 50 miles north of Sacramento, across the river from Yuba City.

Thanks to the generosity of many thousands of Brother Knights, the Columbian Center is a reality. Truly a home for Brother Knights by Brother Knights.

Since 1980, the Knights of Columbus at all levels have provided more than $375 million to help those with physical and mental disabilities.

Each year in October we participate in a three-day drive to raise funds for the Intellectually Disabled.

We solicit funds and give away Tootsie Rolls at local supermarkets as well as St. Elizabeth's & St. Patrick's Churches. We also solicit funds from local businesses. We regularly rank in the Top 10% of the over 500 Councils in California, in total moneys collected. Our entire profits are donated to The ARC North County in Vista who have been providing service for people with disabilities and their families since 1951.

The mission of the Knights Museum is to educate the general public to the contributions made by the Knights of Columbus, the Catholic Church and other people of faith in California, the local communities and throughout the world.

Initially the museum will display current and historical artifacts, memorabilia, documents, photographs, paintings, flags, videos and other such items for viewing by the general public.

Long-term goals include a mobile museum created for the purpose of taking exhibits directly to the public and the creation of branch exhibits in other parts of the State. The museum anticipates that funding, as well as many of the exhibits, will come directly from donations, and will solicit contributions from the general public.
